    These are awesome! Thanks!

Gryffindor is spelled wrong on one of the signs. I guess it's not a big deal:)How do you make the owl post signs on the invites? Or is there a link I'm not seeing to download them?

Both my teen daughters want to use these for Harry Potter parties this fall. Thanks so much!

  10. OH. MY. GOSH. I so wish I had seen this before I threw my party. You are AMAZING! I miss you!

  11. About the Gryffindor sign, I looked back and you are completely right. I can't fix it though, because I didn't make it. It came from the "coloring pages" I linked to...I just "jazzed it up". But still, very good to know.

And about the invitations. I will link them up, so you can use those as well.

  25. LOVE this party....I was wondering what font you used for the food labels?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. For the food label font, its a free font called Beyond Wonderland...you can get it here: http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=2869. It is one of my favorites!

    2. Thank you so much for sharing the font name. BTW I have created a few HP items that you could share: https://www.scribd.com/collections/16786147/Harry-Potter

    Replies
    1. Thanks for the message about the Polyjuice Potion...I checked it out and there is some error...I'm not sure how long it has had the error, but I will fix it. So in the mean time here is the recipe:

1- 16oz. Velveeta cheese (cut into small cubes),
1 or 2* can chili (I used Nalley or Hormel),
      1 cup salsa,
      1 tsp garlic powder,
      1/2 tsp cumin,
      1/2 tsp chili powder.
*It doesn't matter if you do one or two cans of chile, it really just depends if you want it thin or thick. I usually do 2 cans. It is always a hit.

    1. Yes...tub! The regular size, 8 oz. tub. And any brand works! I'll have to fix the typo!

  33. I love your ideas! Do you have a "blank" printable food sign? I'd love to use the idea, but I need to print out different food names. I already downloaded the "Beyond Wonderland" font.

    1. I am sure that I do have a blank food sign, but I am actually on vacation and I don't have those files with me. I'm not sure how soon you need them, but Amanda, from kevinandamanda.com has this great Fall kit, and it has a digital scrapbook paper that would totally work in place of what I used. It is free and you can download the kit here: http://www.kevinandamanda.com/whatsnew/freebies/the-fall-collection-kit-a-digital-scrapbooking-freebie.html

I hope that helps and if not, let me know and I will upload the original when I return.

  38. I absolutely love the food labels. I tried to download the kit from kevinandamanda.com, I was successful, but I cannot figure out how to type text over the paper. I really love the butterbeer sign and bottle label, but wish I could get more than one on a page. Is there a way you could help me with that? Thank you so much!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. J& M- For your question about typing over the papers you downloaded, it just depends on the program you open the paper files with. Do you have a picture editing program? It isn't as easy/user friendly, but you can open it in WORD or PAGES and then layer your typing over the picture. Or if none of those options work, you can print out the "paper background" then put that printed page back into your printer and reprint the typing over it...but that also can be a hassle. A picture editing program is your easiest, and lots of times they come on your computer. I hope that helps.

About the Butterbeer bottle label, to get more per page, again using a picture editing program, you can crop out the label then copy and past it, making more per page. I will though, try and make one up for you. And I can upload it here. I'll let you know when it is done!

      Delete
  39. J&M- Okay, I hope this helps...I just uploaded a link for a page of blank food labels (hopefully it will make it a few steps easier to type over them). And I also uploaded a page of Butterbeer Labels, they only fit 2 per page. But it's better than 1. I hope that helps and thanks for your interest and comments. Good luck with whatever Harry Potter Celebration you are doing.

*And I am hosting a Harry Potter Mystery Dinner in a few weeks, so check back for a whole lot more Harry Potter Party ideas, printables, and Mystery Dinner.

    1. Thanks for your comment Jennifer. I have had a few other email recently with similar problems or not having a Google account. Since I am not sure of the computer programs you have nor your computer skills, I am going to give you a few ideas and I hope one of them will help!
So I put two Blank Food Labels above and you can just click on them as save them to your computer. They are JPEGs so, depending on the programs you have on your computer, you can either add text through a photo editing program, or you can open it in Word or Pages, then add text over it. Or you can print them out blank...then type up your food names in Word/Pages, then print directly on the already printed out Blank Food Labels. I hope that helps.
