Thanks to a few comments requesting the Harry Potter Mystery Dinner Party Script...I got it all edited and uploaded. With the business of the holidays, I had taken a little break from all the Harry Potter Tutorials, but now I am finishing them. Everything should be added this week, so keep checking back.
Here is the Mystery Dinner Party "Script."

This Mystery Dinner is totally family friendly, no adult or suggestive content.
This was a fun party we used for Halloween, but you could use it anytime of year.
Note: These are free. They are not perfect, sorry for any typos, and I do not own the rights to any Harry Potter Material, so these are just a homemade Mystery Dinner for personal use. Not Professional.

*Guest Characters could swap names for the sake of gender, or number of guests, etc

Hello! This is an amazing blog and I'm going to be doing this party for my 23rd birthday :D I was just wondering, if there aren't enough guests, what characters would be the best to remove from the party that won't effect the script too much, or does removing them not effect it? For example if I removed Mundungus and Umbridge, would it mean we get to a part of the party where they should have said something and we miss out on a big chunk of it?

The scripts aren’t letting me download them. They keep loading like they will on media fire but then it just says to Retry and I do, but it continuously tells me to retry. I can’t download them.
ReplyDeleteYou might be interested to know that someone has copied your script and is using it (without credit to you, JK Rowling, Warner Bros., etc.) as a theatrical production and charging for participation in the "production" and for ticketed admission. I only mention this to you because, should the HP franchise get wind of the situation, it would be very bad, and you could also be held responsible despite the fact that you have done nothing illegal yourself in creating the script. If you would like more information, please let me know and I will email you privately.

We carried out this Murder mystery party last night and everyone had an awesome time, there was 11 of us so we didn't have a Mundungus or Lockhart but replaced their roles with extra clues and it worked really well. Will be doing it again soon. Did include extra clues around the house to help point guests in the right direction too and had a magical buffet not a sit down meal. probably took us 2 hours ish.

I really want to do this for a Harry Potter themed party, is there any way to upload or post pictures that don't require a person to go to another screen and download from a more trustworthy site like google docs that has security measures in it. Everyone had such an amazing time and it is credit to you and all of the hard work you put into this. I told everyone that it was thanks to you sharing this and I was just lucky enough to find it. Now, my youngest daughter is now going into 5th grade and is begging me to do the same Murder Mystery Party. I have pulled out all of my supplies but we are running into a small problem.
